Tucked away in Pipβs Attic is a cosy little spot filled with pretty papers, soft cushions and tiny treasures, ready for an afternoon of creating.
Start with somewhere cosy
Every good craft corner needs a comfy place to sit. Add a miniature armchair, a little rug and a few cushions to instantly make the space feel warm and lived-in. Donβt worry about making everything perfectly neat β a cushion on the floor or something left slightly out of place makes a miniature scene feel much more real.
Add your tiny craft supplies
This is where you can have fun with the smallest details. Roll scraps of pretty paper into miniature wallpaper rolls, pop them into a tiny basket, stack little pieces of fabric or add miniature books and parcels.
You can even use tiny offcuts and leftovers from your own craft box β in Pipβs world, almost anything can become something.
Make it feel like someone lives there
A vase of flowers, a little picture, a warm lantern or a forgotten cup of tea are the details that bring a miniature room to life.
The idea isnβt to fill every space. Just add a few little clues that tell a story β as though Pip has been happily crafting all afternoon and youβve happened to peek inside.
And finally⦠add a little magic
The best miniature scenes donβt have to be perfect. They just need to make you want to look a little closer.
Create a corner that feels cosy, collected and slightly whimsical β and remember, everyone deserves a little magic in their day.
Love, Pip β‘
